The last two duck hunting seasons have been great ones as the duck population has increased significantly. A lot of that credit goes to organizations like Delta Waterfowl. Their efforts in waterfowl habitat restoration and improvements are beginning to pay off. To continue that trend, various Delta chapters across the country hold banquets to help raise money for more conservation efforts.
The South Texas Chapter in San Antonio will hold a dinner on Thursday, August 15 at Anne Marie’s on 12475 Starcrest. Tickets are $60, but there are reduced prices for kids, and prices for couples. Special pricing for tables of 8 are also available.
The big draw is the live auction and the silent auction where many duck hunting gear will be available including a variety of firearms. Games and raffles will also be conducted.
